For those of you who can remember
back to the 1970’s, to the new groundbreaking Hunt Valley Inn, built in the rolling
hills of Baltimore county’s horse country by McCormick Spice Company and
managed by Marriott, it was stunning, state-of-art in the hospitality
industry. The inn set new standards as
to luxury, conference facilities, weddings, but most locals remember it for
what was then, the glorious weekend brunches and dinners at the Cinnamon Tree
Restaurant.
Between the new owner, Laurus
Corporation and management, Wyndham
Grand Hotels, the inn has been resuscitated with over $15 million dollars in
renovations to the entire property: rooms, convention hall, ballroom, but most notably
their dining and social gathering areas: Polo Lounge and Bar for craft
cocktails and tapas bites, Café 245 for that morning brew and pastry and their
crowning jewel, the Cinnamon Tree Restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and
dinner. Read the full story and watch the slideshow on Examiner.com.
