Lost recipes from favorite restaurants that have closed – can you help?

A recent e-mail from Jay Block brought up a great subject, one that we needs everyone's input. Jay Block wrote, “I figure you would be the person to ask. Do you know how to get the recipes for Burke's Onion Rings and Oyster Stew? Far too many memories to let die.”

As a number of Baltimore landmark restaurants close we can no longer enjoy their signature dishes. Whether it is the strawberry pie from Hausner’s or Harley’s burgers in the special sauce – we yearn, yet crave these dishes.
